A Trip To Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu

On May 5, 2017, my cousins and I left for Santa Fe, Bantayan Island. My cousins and I have never visited the island before so it was an exciting adventure for us. We decided to take the car for the four hour drive to Hagnaya Port in the town of San Remegio, where we rode a public ferry to Sta. Fe Bantayan Island.

We were welcomed by the islands white sand and clear blue sea. Getting to the island was no joke but it was all worth it.

During our stay in the island we visited the Ogtong Cave. There were a lot of people who were visiting as well because it was peak season. While waiting for the amount of people in the cave to lessen, we decided to check out the sandbar which was very near the cave.
After chilling in the in the cave for a short period of time we went back to the resort we were staying in and continue our dip in the beach, and yes we went back to the resort soaking wet πŸ˜‰.

After we had our dinner in boodle style, my cousins and I played cards which was great, I hesitated at first because I didn’t know how the game worked but it but it was really fun.

On our last day we woke up really early to see the sunrise which was magical.

We went to church in the city later that morning and I fell in love with the architecture of the church πŸ’–. It’s structure was amazing and it wasn’t very modern yet.

The whole trip was magical and we enjoyed our short stay in the island. We didn’t have enough time to explore the whole island but we had an amazing stay and we hope we can come back again for a longer stay to see more of what tge island has to offer.
